One basic goal of the website is to help students who are struggling to build vocabulary. In addition, we also provide other contents for language studying, such as dynamic vocabulary tests, fast building vocabulary, leisure reading, and grammar exercises.

K12 Language Arts has developed some fantastic web apps, which are designed to build vocabulary or enhance English skills. These apps' contents are from the proven word, sentence, and classic literature. They cover separate requirements and support flexible and personalized scenarios.

Most web apps are free, except a few of them need a VIP account to access. In general, we have three groups of web apps:

Vocabulary Test:
The group produces dynamic and handy online vocabulary quizzes for different levels or tests to help students evaluate their levels. Some apps focus on specific exams in straightway, like SAT; meanwhile, we also offer a generic test app to load vocabularies of various exams and grades.

Vocabulary Building:
We have developed some vocabulary builders based on web technology to meet with different circumstances and student levels. Here, we especially recommend VSO (Vocabulary Study Online) series, which have built-in advanced artificial intelligence and supports lots of vocabulary objects. It's a flexible and efficient tool to study and review vocabulary.

Reading and others:
These web apps enrich your English skills by reading classic books, studying hot words and phrases from popular media, etc.

Students have various requirements on word lists. Even for the same test, such as SAT, for different purposes, passing score for admission or high score for a scholarship, students usually have to work on separate vocabulary lists.

A right vocabulary list will save time and improve vocabulary skills dramatically. We suggest that students should work with a tutor to choose a worklist based on time frame, level, and goal. A good wordlist means half success in vocabulary building.

So, choose a vocabulary is crucial in test preparation. To make such an important job easy and reliable, we collect and prepare some high-quality word lists. These lists are made for different purposes and levels. Hopefully, you can get some that match with your situation.

We are open to anyone willing to contribute vocabulary to the website. If it meets with criteria, we will publish it to help more students.

There are three reasons to upgrade your account to VIP.

We limit a free account to 12 months effective. However, if your account needs to run over 12 months, you must upgrade it to VIP.

Besides, we remove a free account if it has been inactive for over six months, even if it has existed for less than 12 months.

3. Ad-free website
If you buy a 12-month VIP, we will remove all ads from the web pages. Then, you can experience an ad-free website.

You can easily upgrade your account to VIP for $2 per month. If you don't renew your VIP, the account will be set as a free account again after expiration. If it keeps as inactive over 6 months, we will erase it.

Some of K12 Language Arts content is free and without requiring a sign-on.

However, some web apps need an account to sign on because they must identify the separate users to keep temporary studying or exercising data and offer personalized services.

A K12 Language Arts account is suitable for all apps on the website. Please use a valid email address to register. From the top menu's Sign On, you can register an account with your email; then, you will receive an access code in minutes. Try to sign on by both email and access code; you can quickly confirm if your account has been created.

We keep free accounts for 12 months. If a free account is longer than 12 months, we may freeze and erase it. However, if you don't sign on over six months, we will also erase your account and data.

Besides, if you need VIP service, you must own an account. We always keep a VIP account status as active. After the VIP service is expired, you can still use it as a free account.

We store a free K12 Language Arts account and all its data for 12 months. Besides, if you don't sign on over six months, we also erase your data even if less than 12 months.

Tips to keep free account:

1. If you don't save data at server/cloud side, don't worry about 12/6 months limits. You can re-register with the same email anytime. If the old account has been removed, you will get a new access code.

2. If you save some data at server/cloud side, and your studying lasts longer than expected, you have to sign on the account at least once in 6 months. If so, your account can remain up to 12 months.
