Either to stick to tradition or follow one's heart and take the road less traveled has led to numerous conflicts. I personally believe both sides have valid reasons.
Tradition has sculpted society and act as a life guideline to many. Moreover, tradition plays a formative role in cultivating one's sense of identity. It's needless to stress the importance it holds. Were all cultural heritage to be discarded, albeit their significance, then what will there be left for a nation to identify with? On the other hand, some traditions are considered cliche and outdated. And it is only reasonable to discard those and progress with time. After all, novelty act as a powerhouse to improve the human race. Only by freeing the youngsters from restrictions of dilapidated traditions can they thrive and excel.
I personally think both sides have reasonable points. By conserving the quintessential points of tradition and implementing it with novel fashion, I believe it can lead to perpetuation ...
