Are too many resources devoted to protecting wild animals and birds?
Are too many resources devoted to protecting wild animals and birds?
Answer 1
Nowadays, the most distressing issue is that for protecting wild animals. Some people assume that we pay more attention to animal welfare. I partially agree with the given statement since extinction seriously affects biodiversity. People are responsible for protecting animals; however, it is expensive, and some species die without people's interference.
To start with, biodiversity is essential to the well-being of the planet, and the loss of the species can disrupt the balance of the ecosystem. Consequently, all are tightly linked; extinction of one animal can lead to the food chain's deconstruction. Moreover, numbers decline due to illegal hunting, poaching, deforestation, or air and water pollution. For instance, on average, ten species of animals and birds die each year because of human activity. People have the responsibility to protect animals on this planet. It is the only way some species can be protected from extinction.

Concerns about too many resources and attention are focused on the protection of wild animals and birds may constrain the resource on other items like pets or economic animals. While there exists an initiative that the government should pay more attention to wild animals and birds, I think it is reasonable.
There are several reasons to believe that we don't have to pay much more attention to wild animals. Firstly, wild animals are the same as humans being pets and economic animals, because they are all animals, there should not be any differential treatment between the animals. Secondly, wild animals are more suitable for wild resources; if we put much energy on them, they may be unfit, which will cause resource waste. Finally, the wild animals are used to nature; therefore, they belong to God. If we manage them, we may lead to ecological imbalance.
On the other hand, I hold the standing that we should emphasize the protection of wild animals. With climate change, there are ...
