Various animals have gone extinct in the last few decades, and still, these numbers are rapidly increasing. It is often argued that we should protect animals that are beneficial in some or another way. However, I can't entirely agree with this opinion and believe that we need to preserve them all, which are endangered due to unsuitable climate changes regardless of their usefulness.
Firstly, all animals are an essential part of the ecosystem. They play a significant role in maintaining natural balance and resultantly contribute to the survival of human life. For instance, the carnivores depend completely on other animals for food, and the herbivores depend on plants. Therefore, every animal in the food chain plays an imperative role in sustaining the required balance. Even though these animals don't directly affect humans, they are undoubtedly essential for humans' survival. Clearly, it is important to preserve them so that the natural balance doesn't get disrupted.
