Why do museums attract tourists more than local people? How to improve it?
Answer 1
Historical monuments communicate the life of the last decades, which is more explored by the domestic or international tourists than local people. There are multiple reasons for this trend. Mainly the lack of awareness about the archaeological importance of that particular property. In this essay, I would like to bring out certain points about this and suggestions to enhance people's interest to experience the archives in the area.
As I mentioned above, lack of knowledge is the main reason why local people hesitate to visit places with historical relevance. Because of this, they will not take many initiatives to visit these places and learn about the culture which existed in their area decades before. To add to it, there are also financial aspects connected with this. Hence the local people won't worth the value of that monument; they won't be ready to spend a single penny to visit that place.

Many museums and historical places are chiefly visited by tourists other than native people. This essay intends to explain the reason for this as well as the strategies to lure natives to such locations.
Historical places and artifacts conservation should be given a reasonable relevance as they are taking care of a golden past. People, especially natives, should impose special care and interest in this matter. Yet, this is not happening at all. The preservation of history chiefly prioritizing tourism is the pioneer reason in making locals reluctant to visit such places. In order to enforce tourism and to accelerate financial funds, authorities often impose high entry fees. To exemplify, in a study conducted among Trivandrum natives by a group of college students, the majority of them lack knowledge regarding the famous historical palace, and those who know about it have lesser interest to visit due to high entry fees.
Several actions can be imposed by authorities to enhance ...
